Katie is a Registered Dietitian specializing in sports nutrition and health and wellness. Besides handling WellMade's daily operations, Katie maintains her own practice in Southern California consulting with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, including celebrity clientele and professional athletes.  She has been featured on CBS 2 news numerous times, has taught nutrition classes at the university level, has conducted multiple nutrition seminars and lectures and continues to author a nutrition newsletter. 

She is an avid runner, having run cross country and track and field competitively in high school and college.  While competing for the University of Southern California, she was team captain and a member of the 1996 Women's Track and Field Team Pac-10 Championship Team. She continues to train, run and race competitively and regularly ranks at the top of her field, having qualified for the Boston Marathon 9 times.  Katie has personal bests of 1:25 in the half marathon and 3:08 in the marathon.

Katie holds a Master of Science in Nutrition, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Southern California. She is also a Board Certified Sports Dietitian( CSSD).

Katie has three boys ages 15, 12 and 9.
